Our Sinks are made from Spun Cast Bronze individually one at a time. Spun Cast Bronze provides uniformity and distinctness. Individual sinks produced from our standard molds will all vary slightly in tone and finish. We have two finishes; Antique Bronze and White Bronze. Antique Bronze has a base undertone with a golden hue. The patina is hand polished to provide a dark top finish. White Bronze provides a silvery undertone. Both finishes are living and will change and develop overtime. Bronze sinks develop more character with heavy use and will improve with heavy use or outdoor applications.
Our other bronze Products are made using the lost wax casting process. The Chinese developed the sand cast bronze process thousands of years ago. A model of almost any object is made in wax and a series of positive and negative molds are produced until a negative investment mold with channels that the bronze material is poured into.
